Airman 1st Class Carolina Guzman, 47th Medical Operations Squadron medical technician, provides medical assistance to Capt. Jonathan Andrew, 47th Student Squadron assistant director of operations, in a two-day exercise on Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, Oct. 30, 2015. Day two simulated an aircraft hijacking and active shooter scenario, testing the ability of Laughlin’s personnel to protect aircraft, rapidly respond and engage an armed hostile, provide emergency life-saving treatment to injured and disseminate pertinent and timely information wing-wide.
