In this edition of the “commander’s corner,” Col. Thatcher Cardon, 47th Medical Group commander, describes how his experiences in military service and in the medical profession helped shape his definition of the term “happiness,” and how to attain or maintain a sense of such. “There are several elements to happiness but none more important, by far, than good relationships,” he said. “In my career as a doctor when people are stripped of all they have and are, on their death beds, it’s all about relationships.”
