Tradition of winning
Senior Airman Renato Menchaca, 85th Flying Training Squadron aviation resource manager, carried on the Laughlin aviation resource management’s tradition of excellence in his own way by bringing home the 85th FTS Airman of the Year. Menchaca, a member of Laughlin’s “1Charlies,” or aviation resource managers, played a hand in the unit winning the 2018 Sgt. Dee Campbell Outstanding Small Unit Award, one of their many decorations.
