1st Lt. Claire Latscha, a 87th Flying Training Squadron instructor pilot, moves to an aircraft for a training mission at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, May 17, 2019. Latscha helped the 19th Air Force pen new techniques for aviators flying in the T-38C Talon airframe, helping to strengthen the Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training program for the fighter aircraft track and is now used across all of Air Education and Training Command.
