Airman's Spotlight: Lt. Col. Gentry Mobley

Lt. Col. Gentry Mobley, 85th Flying Training Squadron commander, pointed out the world of U.S. Air Force pilot training is going through once-in-a-lifetime changes. “When I went through pilot training, I graduated with 200 hours of flying,” said Mobley. “Students now graduate with about 120 hours. The question is how we leverage technology to bridge the gap and ensure our students have the foundation to defend the nation.” (U.S. Air Force graphic by Senior Airman Anne McCready)
