First recipient of the Graziano Award
Capt. James Bloch, 87th Flying Training Squadron instructor pilot, is the first ever recipient of the Graziano Award at the FAIP FLAG white jet flying competition, August 9-11 2019, at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana. The Graziano Award is presented to a current first assignment instructor pilot, or FAIP, at one of the primary pilot training bases. This award memorializes the life, character and professionalism of Capt. John Graziano, an 87th FTS FAIP who passed away last year in a training incident at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas.
