One for the families...
Col. Carey Jones, 47th Operations Group commander, lights a candle during a 9/11 memorial ceremony at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, Spet. 11, 2019. Three candles were lit during the ceremony: the red candle in commemoration of all the victims, heroes, survivors, and families who lost loved ones during 9/11; the white candle was lit for all families of victims who were touched by this tragic event which changed so many people’s lives for the worse; and the blue candle was lit for justice, loyalty, perseverance and reverence to God.
