XL defenders tryout for San Antonio Basic SWAT course
47th Security Forces Squadron defenders ranger shuffle to the Combat Arms Training and Maintenance range at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, Sept. 25, 2019, and call jodies on the way as part of the tryouts for the San Antonio Basic Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) course. Senior Master Sgt. Dwight Valeros, 47th Security Forces Squadron manager, gave the competitors a time limit of 25 minute to get from the guardmount to the CATM range, approximately 1.8 miles away.
