First FAIP flagship unveiled at Laughlin

The 47th Maintenance Directorate corrosion control team who painted Laughlin’s aircraft, and Capt. Melaine Valentin, 47th Student Squadron instructor pilot and art designer for the first assignment instructor pilot flagship, gather for a photo at the unveiling of the T-38C Talon FAIP flagship July 26, 2020 at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. Valentin provided the 47th MXD’s corrosion control team with a 2D plan for the aircraft's paint design, and the corrosion control team turned it into a 3D reality.
