Second Lt. John Cao, 2nd Lt. Gene Pak, 2nd Lt. Joshua Englebert, 2nd Lt. Zachary Arambula, 47th Student Squadron student pilots assigned to Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, clear weeds from the base of a tree on April 10, 2021, near Brown plaza and San Felipe Creek in Del Rio. More than 500 volunteers from base focused on revitalizing the San Felipe Amphitheater, Rubin Chavira Elementary School, Bobby Barrera Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics school, the Casa de la Cultura, Brown Plaza, AA Animal Rescue Coalition, a cemetery and numerous baseball and softball fields throughout town.
