LOMRS welcomes newest commander
U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Avis McCaslin, outgoing Laughlin Operational Medical Readiness Squadron (LOMRS) commander, renders a final salute to their squadron during the LOMRS change of command ceremony at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, June 18, 2026. As commander, McCaslin oversaw over 24,500 patient visits, drove Laughlin’s dental readiness to the number one rate in Air Education and Training Command and established the base’s first victim advocate program.
