    The 86th Flying Training Squadron Booster Club partnered with a local animal shelter, A Pet’s Wish, to organize a charity event at the Laughlin Branch Exchange, July 11.
  • Laughlin graduates new honor guard members

    Seven Airmen gained the official delegation to be called honor guard members yesterday at Heritage Park, July 10. In order to officially complete their training, graduates were required to showcase some of their duties during a simulated mock funeral, which consisted of a firing party, flag folding, and rendition of Taps.
  • Commissary celebrates 150 years

    The Defense Commissary Agency began its 150th year anniversary July 1. To observe this birthday, Laughlin’s commissary staff handed out free cake and reduced its store prices on food and household goods.
  • Laughlin welcomes new commander

    The 47th Flying Training Wing welcomed its new commander during a change of command ceremony June 28. U.S. Air Force Col. Charles Velino assumes command of a base that began its pilot training program in 1947.
  • Laughlin, community celebrate ground-breaking of STEM school
