    STEM zone’ coming to Fiesta of Flight

    While attending the 2020 Fiesta of Flight Air and Space expo at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, airshow-goers are scheduled to also have the opportunity to stop by the science, technology, engineering and mathematics displays on the flightline.
  • As a thank you for the outstanding support from Del Rio and the surrounding community, Laughlin Air Force Base will host an open house and air show, Saturday, March 14, 2020. The one day event will be headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration team.

    Laughlin to host 2020 Fiesta of Flight Air and Space Expo

    As a “thank you” for the outstanding support from Del Rio and the surrounding community, Laughlin Air Force Base will host an open house and air show, Saturday, March 14, 2020. The one day event will be headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration team.

    Laughlin hosts the ‘Fiesta of Flight’

    The normally quiet Texas skies were filled with the low rumbles and sub-sonic booms of aircraft across many generations providing a spectacle for more than 22,000 local community members flocking to Laughlin’s open gates for the first time in nearly a decade.

    Almost Showtime: Fiesta of Flight

    Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, is set to host multiple aerial performances, concessionaires, static displays and more at the ‘Fiesta of Flight’ Open House and Air Show May 12, 2018. Being Laughlin’s first show in nearly a decade, the base spent more than two years of planning with the continuous support from the community. The ‘Fiesta of Flight’ is prepared to house over 35 aircraft, including 16 performances.
  • Fiesta of Flight officials announced the lineup of military aircraft coming to Laughlin for the region’s premier Air Force Open House May 12. The event’s headliner will be the United States Air Force Aerial Demonstration Squadron, known as the Thunderbirds.
