    U.S. Air Force Airmen partnered with a national organization, Salute to Life, to host a bone marrow donor registration, at Laughlin AFB, TX., July 17-21. This drive is intended to boost the national registry numbers to provide more matches between donors and patients.

    The Defense Commissary Agency began its 150th year anniversary July 1. To observe this birthday, Laughlin’s commissary staff handed out free cake and reduced its store prices on food and household goods.

  • Laughlin welcomes new commander

    The 47th Flying Training Wing welcomed its new commander during a change of command ceremony June 28. U.S. Air Force Col. Charles Velino assumes command of a base that began its pilot training program in 1947.
