LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Second Lt. Kyle Sellner, a Laughlin Air Force Base student pilot, self administers a DNA swab for voluntary registration into the National Marrow Donor Program. The NMDP was established in 1986 as a means to match unrelated donors to patients in need of a blood stem cell transplant, but lack any family members with the suitable tissue match.
