The 86th Flying Training Squadron showed off their new heritage tail on August 13, 2021 at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. The heritage tail, painted by the corrosion shop at Laughlin, shows heritage that dates back to the Douglas B-18 "Bolo" of World War II. On the nose of the aircraft it displays the names of Lt. Col. Shawn Chaney, 86th FTS commander, and Capt. Glen Edwards. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Senior Airman Nicholas Larsen)
