Unit and job title: 47th Flying Training installation deployment officer

Why he XLed: Brown led the wing commander’s air force expeditionary force reporting program by posturing 270 unit type codes with a 100-percent readiness rate for the third year in a row. He oversaw 68 deployment taskings that deployed combat Airmen to 22 locations. He acquired and prepared $11,000 in mobility bags and weapons to support five operation plans. Brown managed Air Education and Training Command’s top two installation deployment readiness cell programs by supporting 114 agreements and recuperating $156,000 in annual reimbursements. He aided an Air Combat Command tasking and deployed six higher headquarter Airmen to the Air Force’s largest joint air exercise. Lastly, he identified 10 defective individual body armor sets and quickly replaced them.
