Laughlin HAWC observes Womens' History, National Nutrition Months
LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Staff Sgt. Kenneth Bowman adds vanilla to a blender filled with ingredients for a smoothie while Chris Anderson dishes out gazpacho, a cold tomato soup, during a cooking demonstration at the Laughlin Health and Wellness Center March 12. Audience members were treated to several dishes, most of which carried the theme “roasted vegetables.” The demonstration was part of an event promoting awareness of Women’s History and National Nutrition Months, both of which are observed in March.
