LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- More than 20 colleges and universities from around the nation will be answering questions during an Education Fair at Laughlin’s Club, Aug. 3.
The event is designed to provide military and civilian personnel an opportunity to learn about various universities and degree programs.
Showcasing what resources are offered to those seeking higher education is something Ms. Giovanna Treglio, 47th Force Support Squadron education and training counselor, established as an objective for the event.
“Our goal is to provide Team XL with as many resources to meet their higher education goals,” said Treglio.
Laughlin hosted its last Education Fair in 2011 and to support the community’s interest in higher education, the base’s education center coordinated with these colleges and universities to re-establish this fair.
“We know that completing education is vital to everyone here at Team XL,” said Tregilo. “We want everyone to have plenty of options to complete their education.”
